Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) Training for Healthcare Professionals

May 24 @ 10:00 am 11:15 pm EDT

Join us on Friday, May 24th, from 10:00 – 11:15 AM EST for a webinar with Dr. Malissa Barbosa, Opioid Response Network’s Subject Matter Expert, discussing the continuum of substance use, what SBIRT is, the implementation of SBIRT in medical professional’s personal practice, and additional resources.

SBIRT stands as an evidence-based, public health approach designed to provide early intervention and treatment services for individuals with substance use disorders or at risk of developing them. It aims to prevent or reduce substance use and its related health consequences, diseases, accidents, injuries, and other severe outcomes through early intervention strategies applicable across diverse settings, including primary care centers, hospitals, trauma centers, and dentists’ offices. Take advantage of this opportunity to empower yourself and your team with valuable insights and practical knowledge to enhance your approach to early intervention and treatment for substance use.

The webinar provides 1 CEU hour where eligible.
